ABOUT HEAVEN & EARTH WORKS

The mission of Heaven & Earth Works is to bring thoughts
and things of beauty and meaning into everyday life, as well as
to commemorate special occasions and life passages. The
company’s “Milestones” line of poetry and word art,
greeting cards & magnets, handmade books & boxes and “Chocolate
Wisdoms” offers uniquely personal creations which strive to
deepen the expression of common sentiments with heartful,
intelligent and visually warm presentations. The Company’s
retail roster includes artisan & gift galleries, stationery and
bookstores, specialty and home furnishing stores, as well as
spiritual, recovery, yoga & wellness centers. The Milestones
creations, featuring the work of author-poet Terah Cox,
have been reviewed in Westchester Spotlight Magazine,
The Patent Trader, Giftware News, New Age Retailer,
GiftShop Magazine, Hudson Valley Magazine,
Gifts and Decorative Accessories & more.
As the Milestones line has grown, it has received
continual accolades from retailers and their customers for its
“unique heirloom-quality and strong emotional appeal.” The line
commemorates weddings and anniversaries, birthdays and
b’mitzvahs, holidays and special gatherings, dreams and doings,
graduations, new beginnings, life changes, healing and comfort
for adversity, illness and loss, as well as spiritual,
philosophical and mystical themes. Terah’s lifelong passion for
encouraging connectedness and understanding between people from
all walks and ways -- and the calling to “follow your heart, so
your feet will know where to go” -- permeates the messages of
all the Milestones creations. Her works have been used
in wedding and commitment ceremonies, memorial tributes,
motivational and inspirational programs, books and online
venues, school yearbooks, churches and temples.

TERAH says…
"I interrupted Master studies in Poetry at NYU years ago to
launch a career as a lyric writer. The
Milestones
project brought me full circle -- back to my love of poetry and
the way it can awaken us to the magic and meaning in our lives.
One of the gifts of difficult times is the opportunity to
“true-up” our lives and livelihood to bring more connection and
meaningful relationship with ourselves and others. The times
when I’m working simultaneously on pieces for weddings, births,
graduations and memorials remind me how rich are the seasons and
cycles of our lives with endless opportunities for us to
recreate ourselves. The creations that are birthed from us --
and which also help to rebirth us -- express our inner richness
and resiliency and show us that we are worthy of having, and
sharing, our ‘best life.’ I have a favorite saying that came to
me one day -- 'Every time someone reaches for sky, the world’s a
better place.’ To me, this means that every day and moment we
reach for the highest dreams we hold in our hearts, we enliven
our lives and take our best shot at making a true and valuable
mark in the world around us. The ‘art of conjuring words’ has
been a way for me to work with my dream to seek and share
knowledge and understanding. Ultimately, my highest aspiration
is to continually remember and remind that our dreams are
connected to what we love, and what we love is what makes life
worth living."
